With the variety of programs and extracurricular activities offered at SHS, we find it vital to keep our community posted on the successes of our students and other happenings that go on throughout the school year. FFA Fun Day

The FFA Fun Day will be on Saturday, February 24 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Taylor Rodeo Grounds. There will be fun for the whole family! You can come for food, games, hayrides, a petting zoo, an auction, music, and more! This is a great way to help support the local Snowflake FFA Chapter. The FFA greatly appreciates any items donated. Save the Date!

We encourage all parents and teens to attend a Parent-Teen University meeting sponsored by Nexus Coalition for Drug Prevention on March 3, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Licano's Mexican Food and Steakhouse in Show Low. 

Topics include:

  • How do I talk to my teen about drugs/alcohol?
  • How do I talk to my parents about drugs/alcohol?
  • What is addiction? 
  • How do I say no?
  • How can my decisions change my entire life?
  • What can I do to help my teen?
  • Is there help?

There is space for 100 people, so make sure to RSVP early by e-mail. You don't want to miss this event. For more information, please view our flyer.


Snowflake High School FFA Mid-Winter Contest

Snowflake High School FFA students attended a mid-winter contest and did extremely well. Sophomore Shayley Paz placed 5th in information, senior Jace Reidhead placed 6th in welding, senior Taggart Griner (not shown) placed 9th in welding, and the entire team placed 5th in welding. We are very proud of these students and our FFA program.
