Friday Reteach & Enrichment
At Snowflake High School, we want every student to succeed. Reteach and Enrichment Fridays give students time to strengthen skills, get extra help, or extend their learning from the week.
How It Works:
Each week, teachers identify key learning goals for their classes.
On Fridays, students who need extra support can receive one-on-one or small-group help from their teachers.
Students who have mastered their lessons can use Fridays for enrichment or independent study.
Who Must Attend:
Students with a D or F in any class are required to attend that class on Friday until their grade improves to a C or higher.
Teachers may also require a student to attend if they haven’t shown proficiency in an important standard, even if the student’s grade is passing.
Students and parents should check the student portal every Thursday evening to see if attendance is required.
Any student is welcome to attend for additional help or learning time — no invitation needed.
Attendance Expectations:
Fridays are considered a regular school day for students who are required to attend.
Missing a required session will be treated as a ditch and may lead to disciplinary action.
Students must be in a classroom at all times — no loitering on campus. Those who misuse Friday time may lose the privilege of being on campus that day.
Fridays are an opportunity to catch up, improve, and excel — use them to your advantage!
