What is an "Incomplete (I)" on my Transcript?
If you see an "I" on your transcript, that stands for an Incomplete grade. You would only get this if you had an extenuating circumstance at the end of a semester that caused you to either not show up to your final or you still have outstanding work you need to complete before getting a grade that was previously approved by your teacher and the building principal. Again, this is not a common thing to see without you knowing it would appear ahead of time. All students who plan to be gone during a fall or spring final MUST get approval from the principal PRIOR to being gone. If you simply skip it, you would not see an "I" on your transcript. Instead, your grade would be calculated with a zero in the gradebook for that missed final.
